For Retailers
GramWise observes publicly accessible cannabis retailer menus in the New Jersey markets we track to make local markets easier to compare.
For shoppers, that means less menu hunting.
For retailers, it means a clearer view of the cannabis market around them.
If your store appears in a GramWise market, that does not mean you entered into a partnership, paid for placement, or endorsed GramWise. Retailers are included because they are part of a defined observation panel and their public menu can support the comparison being made.
GramWise does not sell cannabis, process transactions, or change market calculations, inclusion standards, or public reporting based on retailer participation.
If Your Cannabis Store Is Included
GramWise works from information published on cannabis retailer websites and dispensary menu platforms.
That can include:
- product names and brands
- categories and formats
- package size
- displayed prices
- promotional pricing
- potency information
- observed menu scale
- changes between observation periods
These are point-in-time cannabis menu observations, not live inventory feeds.
Your own menu remains the authoritative source for current price, availability, promotions, and product information.
Being included in a GramWise market means your store is being compared as part of a local cannabis retail environment, alongside other stores that reasonably compete for the same shopper's attention.
What GramWise Can Show Cannabis Retailers
A single menu tells you what your store is offering.
A local market view can show how that offering sits beside everyone else's.
GramWise market reporting and retailer analytics can help retailers see things such as:
- how displayed cannabis prices compare across a local market
- where menu depth is unusually high or low
- how product formats are distributed across nearby retailers
- how pricing and assortment change over time
- where a store sits relative to the broader observed market
GramWise does not claim to know why those differences exist, and we do not turn cannabis menu observations into sales claims.
We surface the market. Retailers decide what it means for their business.
If Something Looks Wrong
Cannabis menus change constantly, and retailer websites and menu platforms do not always present information consistently.
If you believe GramWise captured or interpreted something incorrectly, we want to know.
Retailers can contact GramWise to:
- report an apparent data issue
- clarify how a price or promotion is displayed
- identify a menu-platform change
- explain a condition that is not visible in the public menu
- provide information that may improve future observations
Corrections are evaluated against the available source evidence and GramWise methodology.
Providing information does not guarantee that a published observation will change, but it can help us better understand the source and improve future collection.
Information supplied directly by a retailer may be identified separately from information GramWise independently observed on a public menu.
If Your Dispensary Is Not Included
GramWise does not attempt to cover every dispensary in every New Jersey market.
Each retail market is built as a defined observation panel based on factors such as retailer density, shopping geography, menu accessibility, and comparison value.
A store being absent from GramWise does not imply anything about its quality, performance, or importance.
Cannabis retailers that believe they belong in an existing observation market are welcome to get in touch.
Working With GramWise
Retailers can also work with GramWise beyond public market observation.
That may include conversations about:
- cleaner or more reliable cannabis menu data
- methodology and local market coverage
- recurring cannabis market reporting
- retailer analytics
- future commercial or data relationships
A commercial relationship does not buy favorable treatment in GramWise's public reporting.
Participation, partnership, or payment does not change how a retailer is measured or where its observed numbers fall.
The public market stays the public market.
